Friday and Saturday turned out to be 2 great days filled with lost of self care. I finally had a hair dresser appointment on Friday, the first one in more than 9 month (thanks Covid-19) and it was the kick-off into a couple of relaxed days with lots of time for myself and little work.

Finally getting my hair done felt amazing after all these months and I took a quick walk outside before heading home. I ordered a couple of new clothes which arrived on that Friday afternoon as well and after my work out and a little home spa, self care Friday ended with a lovely dinner at my boyfriends, where we stayed for the weekend.

Saturday morning was spent reading all morning and in the afternoon we took a long walk through the woods next to his house and ended with playing board games and a home cooked dinner. I took some time off from social media as well this Saturday and I am about to head into bed but wanted to at east wrap my blog up for today.

It felt good to rest and get some time away from work. I already feel more clarity and creativity sparking from this time off. It´ always useful to step a couple days away.

Let´s recap day 80:

  1. Sleep: 77% sleep quality
  2. Eating: Porridge for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and Chicken Curry for dinner
  3. Movement:
    • 10 min of Yoga and morning stretching – done
    • 10 min of strength training – 10 min done
    • 10 min of stretching and foam rolling – 10 min stretching
    • a walk, a run or bike ride outside every day – a quick walk yesterday
    • Train to run 10k by mid March – no running
  4. Writing each day, at least a blog post – not done
  5. Read a book a week -little reading in the morning
  6. Mindfulness – a little mindfulness during the day

  2. Eating: Smoothie for breakfast, pasta for lunch and soup for dinner
  3. Movement:
    • 10 min of Yoga and morning stretching – done
    • 10 min of strength training – 17 min done
    • 10 min of stretching and foam rolling – 13 min stretching and rolling
    • a walk, a run or bike ride outside every day – a longer walk outside
    • Train to run 10k by mid March – no running
  4. Writing each day, at least a blog post – done
  5. Read a book a week – lots of reading, I finished book 12, book 13 was already finished
  6. Mindfulness – a little mindfulness during the day
